Who we are:   Ramón L. Báez, C. por A., is a Dominican Republic Corporation  (Compañía por Acciones), operating in and under the laws of the Dominican Republic. It is a third generation family owned and run company, originally established in 1919.

It was originally established in 1919 by Mr. Ramón Leonte Báez Guerrero, in the town of Baní as a general store. Later operated under the legal name “ La Próspera” also in Baní, and moved to Santo Domingo in the 1940’s operating as Ramón L. Báez, C. por A.

Re-organized under the name Ramón L. Báez e hijo, C. por A. in 1957, when his son, Dr. Ramón Marino Báez Miniño joined the company. It changed name back to honor its founder and modernized its by-laws, in order to adjust to the changing business environment in 1968, as Ramón L. Báez, C. por A., to the present day.

Between 1962 and 2000 the company was managed by Dr. Ramón M. Báez, positioning it as the most prestigious supplier to the printing industry and leading the modernization of the Dominican printing, Packaging and Converting industries.

The company is now managed by the third generation who joined in 1981.

Mr. Ramon P. Baez, M.S. who has a graduate degree in Printing Technology is the current president and CEO of Ramón L. Báez, C. por A.
